Louie and I had a very noisy ride to the vet. Unfortunately, it's a half hour drive. He got an A+ from Dr. Jeff. Got his shots, and back we went to the house. My plan was to swap out Louie for Wilbur in the cat carrier, and then immediately return to see Dr. Jeff. I know it seems like a ridiculous amount of driving (when I could have combined taking the two cats at the same time), but I had taken them both before when they were younger and not as strong, and I couldn't face loading them into carriers at the same time. |
I can't say that any of us have ever gone together either!
ReplyDeleteThe mom has taken me and Wally together and she says it's a struggle!
ReplyDeleteI usually go with Binga or Boodie when they visit the vet, but that's because my human likes getting me out of the house! And I don't mind the vet. Plus I'm small compared to them. If all three of us go, she has to get her boyfriend to help her out.
ReplyDeleteGlad he got an A+! That's great! Last time I brought cats in, we brought five at once! it was crazy!
ReplyDeleteThe last time I tried taking two to the vet, I only managed to catch one....
ReplyDeleteI am in total agreement...one cat at a time is more than enough! I applaud that you handled both in one day, and good news that Louie is in tip-top shape...especially his vocal cords...
ReplyDeleteLouie, I am proud that you sang the song of our people!!! It's tradition! Glad you're ok!
ReplyDeleteMOLMOL at the expression on mom's face!! Love it!
My mom totally understands. In the old days, my old sis Olivia and I used to go together, but that was only because our yearlies coincided. Nowadays, Mom just makes the 4,000 trips. :-)
ReplyDeleteCody never sings "the song of his people" in the car, never! Glad all went well!
ReplyDeleteWHY does your Mom look like she's not enjoying your serenade?
ReplyDeleteThat's RUDE.
a fluffy opera star!

Your Mommy should have recorded that song Louie! I'm sure it'll be worth something someday!
ReplyDeleteLOL.. I can imagine your face at the idea of getting both of them.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, FYI, I often do all seven of mine at once..
Moms (and Dads) can be SO stealthy! Sorry you had to go to the vet, Louie. But hooray fir the A+! :)
ReplyDeleteGood job Louie!!
ReplyDelete;-)
