| I went away on a fairly long vacation. I didn't want to leave the kitties alone all that time, so I had a house sitter stay with them while I was gone. I missed them terribly. As soon as I got home and came in the front door, I called for them. The first cat to appear was Louie. He sat at the top of the stairs and talked and talked and told me what happened. He had a LOT to say! |

Louie, you are like me! I always like to tell mum everything too! Glad mom is home safe and sound :)
ReplyDeleteSparkle used to jump on my human's office chair - while she was sitting in it - and purr when she came home. I know she is going to miss that.

I bet he had a lot to say! It doesn't matter how nice the cat sitter is (or how much we can get away with), he or she cannot take the place of a mom!
ReplyDeleteWe go to the beach and other places in the whole state of Washington, our friends stay at our home and take in the papers, mail and try to pet and brush our children, mr. miyagi and miss cody, one is oky doky our older gal miss cody has none of it, when we return after two days gone our doll miss cody sits on my hubs lap forever and at nighttime she crunches inbetween the pillows and snuggles, our mr. miyagi purrs and gets along with miss cody he dances for us and licks on us, they miss us so much even for a few days, who says cats are dumb are a lot dumber than they will ever be, most cats know the voice and touch of their owners and they get upset when the routine is interrupted, but good you had a nice long vacay as winter is coming soon to our parts and probably yours too and your sweet kitty cats will enjoy your presence even more, smooches to Louis and your other cats, ciao!

lol I love that. When i go away I often get the cold shoulder for all of ten minutes and then they realize they are only really punishing themselves and come running and give me a full bath (well what I let them do anyway)

ReplyDeleteI read and re-read this blog daily, it makes me think of how much you love your furrie kitteh cats..I think it wonderful you got a vacation but Louie got lonely a lot, but I am sure he is getting tons of love and affection as are your other kitteh cats too!
