Mom's Funk

We've been putting up with Mom's funk for almost a month now. She's got all sorts of lame excuses. Her knee is a mess, she lost her Cattywumpus notebook that she uses for posts and rhyming, blah, blah, blah. The upshot is that she hasn't been posting! Not our fault! We have given her LOTS of material lately. We are on strike!

  1. Kitties on strike? What's the difference there,
Since 23 of every day's 24 they have their feet in the air?

  5. Come on, kids. You and I both know we never *really* go on strike!

We hope your mom feels better soon, though.

  7. OMC, my human's desk is a mess too! I can't even sit on it to supervise, there is so much junk - and that is leaving ME in a funk!

  8. Humans can be difficult, can't they? Is there a tool for defunking, like the Furminator for Defloofing?

  9. I don't think you are on strike as much as you are demanding better payment if all this good stuff is going to go to waste :)

  12. I know how you feel. My Mom has been extremely down for the past 2 months....it has been hard to cheer her up. Maybe something in the air? Love, Cody

  13. Humans are such whiners, and your humans desk can't be as bad as mine. I think she does it on purpose to block me. I knock off as much as I can, but she picks everything up and puts it back. I'm tempted to start peeing in her shoes if she continues to block access to her desk.

  14. We are really sad that Mom Ann is in a funk. Our mom has been wondering where y'all have been hiding. We will be purring and praying that she soon starts feeling better. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  15. We're sorry you're feeling funky.
Maybe a little dance might help?
    ...like 'do the funky kitteh?'

  16. I understand...thought the end of the horrible winter would enliven my mood, but the same cloud is over my head even in the sunshine and warm temps. Hmm, maybe it's a global conspiracy! C'mon, kitties...pull your peeps out of it! You can do it with cute and purrs.

  19. Ah, all the truly great artists have to take a break and replenish the fountain of creativity.

Or something. Yeah, you're right. It's lame. She should totally help you post.
