Our evening routine ends (or, used to end) with my putting the kitties to bed in the study upstairs. I lure them up there with treats, and they have a cosy warm room for the night. Skootch loves it, because he gets the run of the house for the night, and he gets to eat his food in peace. Well, all that has changed.....

  2. Ooooh, you're a clever kitty, Louie! Do you and Skootch play THoE (Thundering Herd of Elephants) in the middle of the night? :)

    1. Yeah! I had to practice a LOT. But Dad actually filmed me jumping up and hanging on the knob while I kicked with my kickers. Plus, I think I'm wearing out the knob. It's an old door.... hee hee

  9. Just change Louie's color to orange and you'll have Waffles. The little mischief-maker has cracked the code to ALL the cupboards and cabinets in the entire house. I swear, he has more dexterity with his paws than a child has with their hands!

    1. I had to shut them in a room because Skootch needs some "alone time" in the house. I think he likes seeing them shut in their room, because as soon as I put them to bed he runs to his food dish and waits for me to fill it.

  11. I can nap ALL evening but when it's the Human's bedtime, I play crazy like there's no tomorrow. My favorite thing is to bring a good toy under the bed and attack it for what seems like hours! I'm not that big, but the Human says it feels like there's a gorilla under there! Ha ha ha!!

  12. Beautiful illustrations and stories. I smiled, giggled and laughed at all of them ;)
