The other morning I came down to find a mangled pile of green bits on the kitchen floor. I took me a while to figure out what it was. Then I realized that Louie had been doing his usual snoop in the sink, and had decided to play with my martini olive - and toys are always better when you chomp them, right??! I had a good laugh at his expense. |
Hahaha. Yes, I can almost imagine the look on Louie's face when he bit into that olive! Hope you are all doing well. :)
ReplyDeleteSo happy to find a new installment of events in your world. Fell in love with your blog at first sight!
ReplyDeleteI was JUST thinking about you yesterday and thinking how much I was missing your posts! Glad to see you back buddies. Good tip on olives!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing those green things are good for is whapping! :)
ReplyDeleteKeep away from round green things, I guess, is the lesson here!! ;)
ReplyDeleteDid you taste the Martini too?
ReplyDeleteNo, Mom didn't leave any martini for me.
Deletehahaha!!! This is so clever and funny...love the look on the kitty's face who just found out what those green things taste like!
ReplyDelete; )
Actually, I do eat olives. Yes, it is true! I love them. On the rare occasion my human would give me one, she'd better not make me wait because I would snatch it from her hands, play with it and then eat it completely. They're like nip to me! I know it has the same effect on some other kitties, but not all.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to see you post again =^.^=
Purrs
Wow, Louie cannot believe you like those things!
DeleteEwwwww OLIVES!!! I hate green olives and so does Mom! Love, Cody www.catchatwithcarenandcody.com
ReplyDeleteLouie, the look on your face is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteActually a lot of cats like olives... not sure if it is just the black ones or not. I too find it funny that it became a toy.. As I like to say, everything is a toy to a cat..
ReplyDeleteYuck green olives. They seem like a fun toy but icky to eat.
ReplyDeleteOur angel Madison loved the brine the green olives soak in. If he even got one whiff, he went crazy trying to get it. He never tried an olive, however, that had been soaking in alcohol! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Fiona, Giulietta, Lisbeth, Astrid and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteOh that Louie! That sounds like something my bro would do!
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to thank you for your very kind words after Pee left for the Bridge. I bet Lucy was close by when she got there.
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like the taste of those things either!
ReplyDeleteBwaa! Haa!! Haaa!!!
ReplyDeleteMommy had a before cat that LOVED to play with olives! He especially loved the pimento!
