The Dinner Time FLOP

This is his routine: first, he struts in front of my computer screen, smearing his furs all over it. Then he flops down and pushes everything he can reach off of the desk. Of course, he knows I can't resist the tummy. It works every time.

  1. Our routine works purrrfectly for us! When we want mom to feed us we start chewing plastic bags. If she doesn't notice, we put the bag at her feet and chew chew chew! She eventually gets the hint!

  4. If I had a dollar for every cat hair in my keyboard, I'd possess my own island.

  5. Our #1 actually has a boogie mat between her keyboard and her screen. Much of the time, it is full of stuff but Tama can usually guilt-look her into moving it all away so she can sit there!

  8. Cody does the "tummy" routine too, but not on the computer (thankfully!) He sits in a chair next to me and does it until I break down to give tummy rubs

  10. Louie!! What fun! Theo starts chewing on anything around me to get me to feed him. He does his best to be a big pest until he gets what he wants! I like Louie's approach better!

Congrats on the blog-paws nominations!! I hope you win!

  11. We behave in different ways - if Mum is on the computer I (Hannah) stand in front of the monitor so she can't see what's on the screen. The next one is Lucy's speciality and is a sad face and a silent meow (this gets Mum into action promptly every time)!

  15. So glad you had no extractions! We have one toothless kitty and one who only has 4 left.

  17. Dad says if he collected every one of my hairs from the keyboard, the furniture, the carpet and everywhere else in here he'd be able to make a couple more of me. Good thing mom's big on vacuuming!!

  18. I use that same tactic and it ALWAYS gets her attention.
...doesn't always net me extra food though.
